Did You know why zebras are really striped?

Did You know why zebras are really striped?

The answer to that question is that we do not know know for sure. But there are theories. The most common possible explanation is that the stripes protect against predators, by confusing the hunting animals when the herd begins to move. Another possible explanation is that insects that bite avoid the striped pattern where it has sharp contrasts. In this way, the zebras are protected against certain diseases. What we do know about the zebras' patterns, however, is that it is completely unique to each zebra! It is also known through research that it is the dark color that is the basic color and that the white has emerged with evolution.
